Ardmore Day returns Saturday, Oct. 17, with a corn maze, vintage car show and Eagles mascot Swoop joining the free annual celebration.

The Ardmore Business Association (ABA), marking 75 years as a volunteer-led advocate for local shops, has added several new attractions to this year's lineup. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., centered at Schauffele Plaza on Cricket Avenue, according to the ABA's website.

Fox 29 reporter Bob Kelly is scheduled from 11:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Swoop and Eagles cheerleaders follow from 1 to 2 p.m., Main Line Media News reported.

A corn maze will be open throughout the day. A vintage car show will line Rittenhouse Place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The returning Ardbark Dog Parade and Costume Contest begins with registration at 11 a.m. The Children's Spooktacular Parade follows the dog parade at about 11:30 a.m. Judges for the dog contest include representatives from Ardmore Animal Hospital, Main Line Urgent Vet, Ruff House Dog Center and VEG ER, along with longtime ABA board member Harry Althouse.

A Candy Scavenger Hunt begins around 12:30 p.m.

The Family Fun Zone opens at noon with bumper cars, a trackless train, face painting, caricatures and temporary tattoos. Food vendors and sidewalk sales at Ardmore businesses round out the afternoon. Student musicians from Meridee Winter's School of Music perform in Schauffele Plaza at 2:30 p.m.

Ardmore Day debuted in 2019 as an open house to showcase local businesses, according to event organizers. ABA President Nina Greberman told Main Line Media News in September, "Without our sponsors and the businesses that support us, this day would not be possible."

Presenting sponsors are Wild Fork Foods, Firstrust Bank and Ardmore Pizza. Family Fun Zone sponsors include Bob Cermignano Heating & Cooling, Young Adjustment Co., Gouldsburger's and SERVPRO.
