Five businesses are preparing to open in downtown Ardmore along the Lancaster Avenue corridor. The arrivals extend a commercial streak that has brought more than 20 new tenants to the area since 2025.

The Downtown Ardmore District flagged the incoming businesses in its monthly newsletter, Patch reported Tuesday, Sept. 1: VEG ER for Pets, Solis Mammography, Vintner's Table, Pure Green and Calm & Strong Pilates and Yoga.

The biggest draw for pet owners is VEG ER for Pets at 167 W. Lancaster Ave. The chain operates more than 130 emergency-veterinary clinics across the U.S. and Canada, all open around the clock for urgent care and surgeries. No opening date has been announced.

Solis Mammography will set up at 171 W. Lancaster Ave., next door. Solis, one of the largest specialized breast-imaging networks in the country, offers 3D mammography that produces more than 60 images per scan. Most of its locations use AI-enhanced technology, according to Solis. A specific opening date has not been released.

Vintner's Table, an Italian-style wine bar, is taking space at 24 Cricket Ave. The Ardmore spot will be the chain's third location after Phoenixville and Wyomissing. Every glass comes from the business's own winery, Folino Estate in Kutztown. The bar had targeted an early August opening but missed that date. As of Tuesday, Sept. 1, the business said it was getting closer to serving Ardmore.

Pure Green, a cold-press juice franchise founded in 2014, is building out 56 E. Lancaster Ave. The menu includes juices, smoothies, acai bowls and sourdough toast. The Ardmore shop would be Pure Green's first franchise in Philadelphia's western suburbs. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported July 7 that the location was targeting a 2027 opening; no firm date has been confirmed.

Calm & Strong Pilates and Yoga at 46 Rittenhouse Place is the fifth addition. The studio plans to offer yoga, mat Pilates, Sculpt and Zumba classes. It expects to open sometime in September.

The five additions follow a busy stretch for the corridor. Alec Hersh, executive director of the Downtown Ardmore District, told Main Line Media News on July 20 that 10 businesses had opened in the district so far in 2026, with three more on the way. Eleven opened in 2025.

Meanwhile, the $187 million Piazza at Ardmore mixed-use project at 100 W. Lancaster Ave. broke ground in May. That development will add 270 apartments and 30,000 square feet of retail space, with completion expected around February 2028.

Of the five incoming businesses, Calm & Strong's September target is the nearest opening date on the calendar.
