He said he is "a professional public speaker and a member of Toastmasters International since 1997." He added that he "was also the host of The Pennsylvania Project, a popular weekly talk radio show on WWDB in Philadelphia between April, 2019 and December 2024, airing 246 episodes in total."
Asked what accomplishments qualify him, Krawchuk said: "Running a Pennsylvania corporation for almost 40 years provides key insights into business operation, infrastructure, taxation, and how over-regulation can have unintended consequences."
On the issues
Education and property taxes: Krawchuk's top priority, he said, is privatizing public schools. He said: "Government funding totals about $11,500 per child, but instead of sending it to the school districts, just send it directly to each child as a scholarship. Parents then have full school choice and can send their children to whatever private school they prefer or homeschool them."
He added: "Three years ago, the Court ruled the funding of the public schools is unconstitutional … Privatizing the schools via $11,500 scholarships to every child meets all 7 requirements and eliminates all gaps. All children get equal funding, and property tax vanishes."
Economy and cost of living: "Prices are too high because taxes are too high," Krawchuk said. He pledged to "veto every tax increase and use the line-item veto to eliminate unconstitutional and special interest spending," saying his website "lists over three billion dollars in easily-attained savings."
Public safety: Krawchuk called for eliminating parole for violent criminals. "Studies show that only 5% of all criminals commit 95% of crimes, so it's nothing short of insane to let violent criminals out of jail before their time has been served," he said. He also pledged to use the governor's power to "remit all forfeited assets" in cases without a conviction.
State government restructuring: Krawchuk proposed consolidating 24 cabinet-level departments into five. "Let's eliminate most cabinet positions, their multi-million dollar budgets, overlapping services, and overly-compensated leadership," he said.
Public transit: Krawchuk said rural counties "should not pay for transit they do not use" and proposed replacing bus routes with "the new automated robotaxi networks currently unfolding across the country." He disclosed he is "a long-term Tesla shareholder."
Energy: Krawchuk proposed placing solar cells on all state buildings, saying private companies "will install them for free and sell the electricity to us for fixed below-market rates."
Healthcare: Krawchuk said on his X account that he supports legalizing health share organizations in Pennsylvania.
