The women's fashion boutique anchored at Suburban Square in Ardmore is expanding again, with a new Wayne location set to open Wednesday, Aug. 26.

Stile by Per Lei founder Candice Caprice said the brand chose Gateway Shopping Center at 125 Swedesford Road because Main Line shoppers already drive to its Ardmore and Newtown Square stores. The Wayne location joins those two stores on the Main Line.

"Wayne has always felt like a natural fit for us," Caprice said in a statement reported by Patch. "So many of our customers who shop our Newtown Square and Suburban Square locations are already part of this community."

The new store will carry the boutique's mix of wardrobe staples and trend-focused pieces, along with personalized styling services. The opening coincides with the arrival of fall collections.

Caprice, who co-owns the brand with her husband Bruce Middleman, built the business around outfit-building rather than single-piece shopping. Staff help customers assemble complete looks, a model Caprice said drives repeat visits across all locations.

The couple opened their first store in Media in 2007 under the name Per Lei. After a legal challenge forced a rebrand from their "Elan" concept, they adopted the Stile by Per Lei name. They expanded to Suburban Square during the COVID-19 pandemic, taking advantage of favorable lease rates to secure the Ardmore space, according to a 2024 Accessories Council profile of the brand.

Suburban Square, the Kimco Realty-owned outdoor mall, has seen a wave of new tenants in 2026. A dozen new businesses opened in downtown Ardmore in the first half of the year, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported in July, with the shopping center adding national and local brands.

In a Winter 2024 interview with the Accessories Council, Caprice said the long-term goal was 15 stores. The brand also operates locations in Glen Mills and Media, plus stores in Delaware.

The Wayne store's hours and grand opening event details have not been announced.
