Friends' Central School is opening its Lower School campus to prospective families for a free Nature Nursery Open House & Summer Fun Morning on Saturday, August 1, at 9 a.m. at 228 Old Gulph Road in Wynnewood.
Children can explore the school's woods, organic garden and play areas, try a Frog Hunt and Mud Kitchen and meet the Nature Nursery teaching team, according to the school's admissions calendar.
The Nature Nursery is an outdoor-based early childhood program enrolling children as young as 2 years and 7 months. About 70 percent of learning takes place outside on the 18-acre campus.
